Terms of Service

Effective October 2, 2026

1. Who we are

Music File Lab is provided by Mikołaj Ratajkowski, running a sole proprietorship as MIKOŁAJ RATAJKOWSKI | RATAJKOWSKI.DEV, al. Jana Pawła II 27, 00-867 Warsaw, Poland, tax ID 9581721785 (“we”). Contact: hello@ratajkowski.dev.

2. The service

Music File Lab is a macOS app that lets you save songs, albums and playlists from your Apple Music subscription as audio files on your Mac. You need a Mac with macOS 14 or later, an internet connection, an active Apple Music subscription and a Music File Lab account.

Music File Lab is not affiliated with Apple Inc. Song availability depends on Apple Music and your region, which we don't control.

3. Your account

  • You create a free account in the app or on the website with an email and password. Keep your password confidential.
  • One person uses one account. Don't create multiple accounts to claim the free limit again.
  • You can delete your account at any time by emailing us from your account address.

4. Free trial and Premium

  • You can download 3 complete songs for free. The limit applies per account and per Mac; songs inside albums and playlists count individually.
  • Premium removes the app's limit. Plans: monthly (€9.99) and annual (€59.99), plus your country's tax, added at checkout.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Managed Payments), which acts as the seller of the subscription. You'll see the final price, taxes and renewal terms before paying.
  • The subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on the Account page or in the app — Premium then stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Withdrawal rights and refunds follow consumer protection law and the Stripe terms shown at checkout. For a refund, write to us.

5. Acceptable use

  • Downloaded files are for your private use only. Don't share, sell or publish them.
  • Use the app in line with the law of your country and Apple Music's terms. You're responsible for how you use the downloaded files.
  • Don't bypass the app's limits, security or licensing, and don't resell access to it.

If these rules are seriously breached, we may suspend the account after notifying you, unless the breach requires immediate action.

6. Liability

We work to keep the app running well, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability or the availability of specific songs, which depends on Apple. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for damage arising from using downloaded files unlawfully or against these terms. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

7. Complaints and final provisions

Send complaints to hello@ratajkowski.dev — we reply within 14 days. You may also use out‑of‑court dispute resolution, such as a consumer ombudsman or consumer protection authority in your country. These terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to the consumer rights of your country of residence. We'll announce changes in advance on this page and by email.

How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
